Pickleball Club

The Star Valley Pickleball Club was formed in June of 2012 and continues to grow to the current member count of 367 members. The club started out converting 2 tennis courts into four pickleball courts and two years later converting the remaining 2 tennis courts into four more courts to make 8 courts to play pickleball. The members and volunteers resurfaced the old tennis courts and painted all the court lines and put up nets for the updated courts. With the popularity of pickleball growing it didn’t take long for the club to realize they needed to expand so the board members started to work with the Stewart’s to create four more courts. The project was completed in the year 2018, this now gave the club and the community of Star Valley 12 pickleball courts to play on. We now find ourselves again needing to expand, so we are soon to add four more courts in 2024 for a total of 16 courts so the club and community have a place to play the the fastest growing sport.
